When life shifts, how you meet it matters.
Real support for living well through change.
Some changes you choose, while others show up when you least expect them. Maybe your body starts behaving differently, your role no longer fits, or your energy and appetite for life have shifted. These things have a way of accumulating.
I help people navigate the complex changes of midlife by making sense of what’s happening and finding ways to live well through it.
Facing Change in Midlife
There’s no single sign that tells you midlife has started. Usually, several changes happen at once. You might be caring for an aging parent while your career feels less meaningful, or going through a breakup while your body asks for more care.
As these changes unfold, you might become more aware of your own mortality. Our culture often avoids these topics, but your experience is still real and important.
Depending on your path—whether you married or not, had children or not—midlife brings its own questions. You may wonder about what you’ve built, what you haven’t, and what you want from the years ahead.
Aging Isn’t the Problem
Much of what we hear about aging tells us to resist it or fix it. To stay the same. To push it back. I've never believed that. I looked forward to getting older, to the perspective it brings.
What I didn't expect was how hard it would still be. The body changes in ways that are difficult to make peace with. Regrets surface. Things you thought you'd resolved have more to say. Believing that aging is natural doesn't make the experience of it simple.
That's worth saying honestly, because most conversations about aging go one of two ways. Fight it, or accept it gracefully. Neither leaves much room for how complicated it actually is.
This is what the work is really about. Slowing down enough to understand what's actually happening, and finding the awareness to respond to it rather than just react to it.
